DEar sir, the small wireles camera has power output of 640 milliwatt & is so less for digital cards & DVR .. digital input can accept either 0 or 1 , & these wireless cameras are not having stable video , unless u use a strong trsnmitter , try the proces using a corded camera ..u will not see any snow effect . Out put direct to TV will be Ok for these wireless cams .

Why is my Lorex mini color weatherproof security camera only working in black and white d not showing color ?

Make sure it is not in a really shaded area. If the camera does not see enough light, it will stay in black and white mode. If that is not the issue, you might want to contact Lorex directly with the Camera model number.

Hi David,This device originally shipped with a connector on the end of the power leads. Use your ohm meter to determine which color wires are connected to the tip and which are connected to the ring of the connector.Next, locate the data plate on the transformer. It should output 5V. We need to determine if it is a DC or AC voltage. If this info does not appear anywahere, you will need to set you meter to read AC volts (in a range greater than 5 V) and touch the probes to the output connector. If you are unable to obtain a reading, switch the meter to DC volts. If using an analog meter, quickly touch the probes to the connector to see if the meter is attempting to mover forward on the scale - or in a reverse direction (less than 0 volts) on the scale. If reverse, swap the polarity of the leads before attempting again - failure to do so could damage the meter. Once you have found the the meter indicating correctly, observe the the lead positions on the connector and compare to the polarity marking on the jack of the meter. If the RED probe / lead is connected to the (+) terminal and the center connector (tip) of the jack / plug and the BLACK probe / lead is connected to the (-) terminal of the meter and on the outer connection (ring) of the jack / plug; you know the center (tip) conductor is + and the outer conductor (ring) is -Now, inspect the wires of the connector you cut off the camera. Use your ohm meter to test continuity from the wires to the plug / jack. The color wire that is connects to the tip will be + if it tested as described above) and the other wire would be -. If your results in the previuous paragraph were reversed, then you would reverse them here.Fianlly, there are 4 wires. I suspect the remaining two are to feed or act as an antenna. Hopefully, you did not damage them as the range may be significantly reduced - and may cause the transmitter to fail completly. You'll have to carefully inspect them to be sure they're ok (and repair if needed).I hope this helps & good luck!
